Science and You Tube

This website is meant to exchange ideas about using technology and science through YouTube videos.

I am working with Radford University to help develop educational AR games (augmented reality). This experience lets students use iPhones to play a 'scavenger' hunt on school campus through a use of videos and different assessments. I have compiled some You Tube videos that you can incorporate into your classroom for various lessons.

The headings at the top are divided into the different core curriculum for the state of Virginia in Life Science (middle school). These videos are just as applicable to younger and older students alike.

Please post comments to the different videos. Did your students like them? Not? Are there other ways to incorporate these videos into your lesson. Please share!

I am adding new material multiple times a week, so please keep coming back!

How to: being able to "Kick" YouTube videos to your desktop

This is a great idea if you are using iPods in the classroom or don't have YouTube access in the classroom.
